Face book has become an indispensable way to find old friends, schedule events, play games and even send virtual gifts and chat online, and look at other peoples pictures. But if you're doing more living online than off, it might be time to reassess. Many people are now seeing Face book more as an addiction than a networking tool. While all these activities are enjoyable, at times you get so used to them that you forget that you have an actual life to live. When you forget this fact and start spending more time online, thus neglecting yourself as well as people around you, it means you are suffering from Face book addiction disorder. Even though this is no medical term, going by the current trends it wouldn't be surprising to see it being included in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders some time soon. Face book Addiction Symptoms you wake up early in the morning and first thing you do is log onto your Face book account to check what transpired when you were fast asleep at night. The fact is that this is no coincident, but a sign that you are probably suffering from Face book addiction disorder. - You wake up in the morning, and first thing you do is log onto your Face book account. - You spend more than an hour on Face book. - You can't seem to stop thinking about Face book updates and comments when you are offline. - You check Face book for updates and comments after every hour on your cell phone or iPod, or computer - Your Face book wall is full of status updates, comments, and applications that you just used. - You can't go for a day without using Face book.
